-Maintenance Technician IResponsible for execution of maintenance & calibration activities and commissioning activities for projects at site level.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Get permits for maintenance / calibration / projects.
  • Execute work orders for maintenance / calibration as per method statement / procedure.
  • Supervise maintenance / calibration work as Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Update CMMS after maintenance / calibration completion.
  • Document execution of calibration.
  • Manage stores for spare parts ( good receipt, incoming inspection, delivery to work area, make parts for quick repairs and improvements).
  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
  • Creation of detailed lists of equipment and inspection procedures by individual SAMACO equipment category.
  • Creation of a form (report) for documenting periodic checks of individual SAMACO equipment categories. 
  • Conduct a review of SAMACO equipment whenever equipment changes, or when facilities and processes are upgraded, or at least once a year. 
  • Planning and conducting periodic inspections of SAMACO equipment, or participating in inspections if they are conducted by external contractors. 
  • Ensuring that the results of SAMACO maintenance are recorded in the maintenance history and that documentation for individual SAMACO equipment is maintained. 
  • Coordinating SAMACO maintenance with the owner or operator to establish appropriate conditions in the unit and approve the execution of SAMACO maintenance. 
  • Necessary SAMACO repairs, preventive or prognostic maintenance. • Appropriate updates to the SAMACO maintenance program or schedules of the SAMACO maintenance program. 
  • Providing periodic short reports to maintenance managers, describing the current status of the SAMACO maintenance program and briefly describing problems that have been identified or resolved recently. 
  • Ensuring that basic data is updated after each SAMACO maintenance or change. • Restoring systems and components to proper operating or standby condition after completing SAMACO maintenance. 
  • Prompt and timely investigation using the HSE NET application in case of identified non-compliance or delay in maintaining SAMACO equipment. • Working in the VIS application to record SAMACO inspections. 
  • Ordering services, inspections, new equipment, and work supplies through the SAP SRM procurement system.

Key performance indicators:

  • Highest safety standard implemented during projects and operations, no critical findings in HSE audits, no LTI and SIF.
  • GMP/HSE compliance -Adherence to Site KPIs
